BECOMING A STUDIO DANCE REP
We’re always on the lookout for awesome dancers who would make amazing Studio Dance Reps! If you’re outgoing, love being in front of the camera, and want to enjoy some pretty great perks, we’ve got something fun for you. And if you’ve already signed up — welcome to the team!
Studio Dance Reps are student dancers who represent our studio through their senior year of high school in exchange for special deals and exclusive benefits.
We’re so proud of our Studio Dance Rep Program, and our goal is to make this an unforgettable experience for you. We want you to have fun, feel confident, and let us capture special moments on your dance journey.
As a Studio Dance Rep, your role is simple — represent us as your go-to photographer! Share your experience, spread the word, and if your friends are looking for a photographer, send them our way. You play a huge part in helping people learn about who we are and how much we love specializing in Dance Portraits. Most of all, just be you and share what it’s like working with our studio!
Here's how the program works:
Opt-in Investment
Considering our standard Portrait Fee is $450, this is a pretty amazing deal. You can pay the $400 all at once or break it up into installments throughout the year—whatever works best for you.
What you get out of it is really up to you! There’s a lot of potential, and you even have the opportunity to earn your entire investment back—and possibly more.
Benefits of being a Representative
You'll kick things off with a "Studio Dance Rep" session. This is all about getting some great photos to show off to your friends and to help market you as a Dance Rep for the studio.
If you stick with the Rep role through your Senior year of high school, you’ll also get a Senior Portrait session. You can pick the timing and location—whether it's in the Fall, Winter, or Spring.
But that’s not all! We really encourage you to make the most of your Rep status. You can book as many sessions as we can fit in. Want a group shoot with your dance crew? Or maybe a shoot in different dance styles? The more you book, the more you get to expand your portfolio, which is one of the best perks of being a Rep.
For every person you refer to the studio who books a Dance Portrait Session, you’ll get $25 in cash. We’ll pay these out on the last business day of May each year.
Want to help boost your referrals? We can hook you up with Rep cards that have your picture on them, which you can hand out to friends. When someone uses your card for a discount, we can track it right back to you so you can earn those cash rewards.
Plus, you’ll get a 20% discount on everything you order from our website.
How do I sign up?
Once you’ve gone over the program with your parent(s) and everyone’s on the same page with the terms, you’ll need to fill out our Online Dance Representative Survey. By submitting the application, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agreed to the terms of the contract, which means you’ll be exclusively representing Patrick Dunn Photography. Basically, that means no other photographer or studio while you’re a rep—having photos taken by someone else would be a conflict of interest. The only exceptions are if you’re getting photos for things like dance company, school activities, or any other related events where they have their own photographer.
At the start of each year, there’s a renewal for the Opt-In Investment. If you decide not to continue in the Rep Program, just let me know in writing, and you’ll have no further commitment—no questions asked!
What's next?
Once the Contract Agreement is signed and the Initial Opt-in Investment is taken care of, we’ll kick off planning your first Rep Session to get those awesome photos for marketing. I’m all about keeping the lines of communication open, so if you have any questions, thoughts, or concerns at any point, don’t hesitate to reach out. I want to make this whole experience fun and exciting for you—and for future Reps too! But if you decide you want to bow out at any time, for any reason, that’s totally fine. Just let me know, and we’ll take it from there. Keep in mind, though, any unpaid incentives you’ve earned and the Opt-in Investment will be forfeited.
