becoming a studio rep

We are always on the lookout for individuals that we believe would make great Studio Reps.  If you're outgoing, a natural in front of the camera and you would like to receive the benefits of being a Representative, then we have a proposition for you!  If you have already signed up - Welcome to the Team!

Studio Reps are high school students who are willing to represent our studio through the completion of their Senior Year of High School in return for special deals and benefits we provide.  By referring your friends and classmates to us, you can earn cash incentives.  We take pride in our Studio Rep Program and the goal is to provide you with the best possible experience.  We want you to have fun and we want to be there to capture all those important memories for you and your family.  As a Studio Rep, your part is to represent our studio as your Photographer to your friends.  I will encourage you to talk to them about your experience with us and, if they are looking for a photographer, encourage them to contact us about booking a session.  You are a big part of us getting the word out about who we are, stressing that we specialize in Dance and Senior Portraits.  We encourage you to relay to them your experience of working with our Studio.

Here's how the program works:

Initial Opt-in Investment 

*What is required from my Representatives is an Initial Opt-in Investment and buy-in of $700.00.  This is roughly equivalent to the cost of an hour-long Senior Portrait Session with us plus the Digital Files.  What you ultimately receive in return for this investment is completely up to you.  But the potential is great, and you even have the possibility of earning all of your investment back, plus more.

Benefits of being a Representative

*You will get a 'Studio Rep" Session.  This session is to get pictures to showcase to your friends and for use in marketing you as a Studio Rep.  If you are currently a Junior, this session must take place between the end of your Junior year and beginning of your Senior year.

*You will also have another session during your Senior year for your actual Senior Portrait Session.  You can choose when and where you want to schedule this session - Fall, Winter or Spring.

*Beyond these two sessions, we encourage you to take advantage of being a Rep by scheduling Group photo shoots with your friends, Sports shoots for sports you are involved in, Birthday Celebration shoots, and any other Shoot you can think of.  Expanding your portfolio is one of the greatest benefits of being a Studio Rep.  All sessions after the initial Session are all free of charge just for being one of our Representatives.

*You will receive $25.00 in cash for each person that you refer to our studio that books a Portrait Session.  These incentive earnings will be paid out on the last business day of May each year.

*If you request it, you will receive Rep cards with your picture on them to hand out to your friends as a helpful tool in working toward referrals and earning your cash incentives.  We can directly track a referral back to you when your card is redeemed for the discount provided on the back.

*You receive a 20% Discount on ALL orders placed through our website (if you choose to do so).

*Your family receives a Family Session discounted 50% off the Sitting Fee (if you choose to book one).

How do I sign up?

Once you have reviewed the program with your parent(s) and you all agree to the terms outlined - you will be asked to fill out our Online Representative Survey.  Part of filling out the Application below indicates that you have read and agree to the terms of this Contract stating that you will represent Patrick Dunn : Photography exclusive of any other photographer or photography studio during your tenure as a Representative.  In other words, you are essentially agreeing not to have pictures taken with another photographer, as this would be a conflict of interest in representing our studio.  The intent of the Agreement is to represent Patrick Dunn : Photography exclusively and use the images we create with you as your Senior pictures.  The exception would be if you have pictures taken for school-related activities, or other related activities that you are involved in which provide their own photographer.

What's next?

Once the Contract Agreement is indicated in the Application below, and the Initial Opt-in Investment delivered, we will begin planning your Rep Mini-Session to get your pictures for marketing.  I encourage communication throughout the program and ask that if you have any questions, comments or concerns at any point that you please do not hesitate to contact me and let me know.  It is important to me that we work together to make the program exciting and fun for you and for future Reps.  However, if you wish to discontinue your participation at any time, for any reason, you are free to do so.  All that is required is for you to notify me that that is your desire.  All unpaid incentives you have earned and the Initial Opt-in Investment will be forfeited at that point.
