Ceara Cello Shoot

I admire artists.  Any kind of artists.  No other pursuit requires you to invest yourself in the same way that Art requires the creator to commit.  So it was an amazing opportunity to get to photograph Ceara with the instrument (literally) through which her artistic expression flows.  How many hours has she spent practicing and playing?  How many miles have they logged together traveling around the globe?  How many stories have the two told?  Enough that she has named her cello.  It's a relationship not unlike others we capture.  

Our pursuit is to create environments where that relationship expresses itself in some way.  Then our super power is stopping time during those moments.  And my hope is that when others see one of these images or several of them - that they connect with and have a deeper understanding of this artist.
