Dance Portraiture

We have been fortunate to meet and photograph some amazing dancers over the past several years.  Each one of them with a passion for movement and a dedication to perfecting their craft.  Every individual dancer giving of themselves to dance while at the same time dance was giving back to each of them.  Shaping and helping to define who they were.  Whether they were nearing the end of their journey with the discipline of dance or it was going to be a lifelong pursuit of theirs, at the time we photographed them it was a major part of them.  Which is part of why I believe these sessions are so special.  These heirlooms that we create together, will in the future, be a glimpse into part of their story.
